Serdang, 6 August 2026 – The Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Islamic Centre held a gathering between the Director of the UPM Islamic Centre and the UPM Mosque cleaning staff to acknowledge their efforts and commitment in maintaining the mosque’s cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere at the highest standard.

The gathering, held in a cordial atmosphere, was also attended by UPM Islamic Centre staff. It served as a platform to strengthen bonds while appreciating the cleaning staff, who play a vital role in providing a clean, comfortable, and conducive environment for the university community and the local public.

In his address, the Director of the UPM Islamic Centre expressed his deepest appreciation to all cleaning staff for their dedication and commitment in carrying out their duties. He emphasized that the task of maintaining the cleanliness of the House of Allah is a noble trust that significantly impacts the comfort of the congregation during acts of worship.

As a symbolic gesture of appreciation, the Director presented tokens of gratitude to each cleaning staff member in recognition of their service and contributions to the UPM Mosque.

The UPM Islamic Centre hopes that the close cooperation between management, staff, and cleaning staff will continue to strengthen, ensuring the UPM Mosque remains a clean and welcoming institution—a focal point for the campus community and the public to enliven the House of Allah.
