Why is Bullying Dangerous?

INTRODUCTION

Many moral issues and moral issues involve every layer of Muslim society that occurs in this country.

Among the moral issues and moral issues that are against Islam and community norms include the issue of bullying.

This issue of bullying is closely related to religious factors. This is because a high level of faith can distinguish between good and bad deeds and is able to protect oneself from getting involved with the issue.

Here is an important point that bullying is very dangerous and needs to be observed in the Muslim community.

HENDONISM

Perama, bullying is one of the cultures of Hedonism. Hedonism is a Western ethical theory that places pleasure as the main goal even if it violates moral or moral principles.

Hedonism prioritizes pleasure based on the determination of common sense alone.

This culture meets the needs of Secularism which wants to free people from divine and religious elements.

The cultural contagion factor of Hedonism is caused by the attack of thought, globalization, mass media and entertainment. The culture of Hedonism which is the way of life of Western society has been practiced in the daily life of our society nowadays.

INDIVIDUALISM

Second, bullying contains an attitude of indifference and not being ashamed of making mistakes.

This is due to the culture of Individualism which has a special position and has a high level of interest in individual affairs.

Individualism is also concerned with believing in a relative truth. The value of good and bad is based on personal taste.

In this way, ethical issues become subjective and relative matters.

Therefore, this culture lets go of the attachment to the values ​​of community life and fellow communities according to the perspective of the Quran and Sunnah.

REBELLION ATTITUDE

Third, bullying shows a high rebellious attitude. A rebellious attitude gives birth to behavior that is influenced by surrounding factors.

The appearance of that attitude reveals everything stored in the heart by using language and writing channels.

Feelings of rebellion, dissatisfaction and revenge are implications of fines imposed on someone such as caning, standing on a chair and others.

This attitude also forms a behavior that cannot control oneself in the face of various unpleasant things.

Meanwhile, this attitude causes the individual's ability to be unable to modify behavior, manage information and choose an action that he believes in.

ATTITUDE OF SELF-ESTIMATION

Fourth, bullying has an arrogant attitude that feels better and superior and puts others down.

This arrogant attitude often rejects the truth. Not to mention when the truth comes from a person whose position is lower than himself.

Basically pride is an internal emotion that is divided into two categories. There are categories that are internal or arrogant that a person creates in himself.

Next is outward arrogance or arrogance accompanied by physical behavior.

Arrogance can happen because of material factors, rank, lineage, beauty, good looks, intelligence, kindness and worship.

ATTITUDE SHOWING POWER

Fifth, bullying is the act of bullying weak people with the purpose or intention of showing each other's strength for a particular interest.

Likes to show off power also aims to get attention and want more respect. Similarly, power is shown in the form of aggressive behavior that aims to cause discomfort.

This kind of attitude tries to hide each other's weaknesses.

This kind of attitude has the characteristics of  striving for superiority  or trying to get a position even if there is an internal problem or  inferiority complex  in each person.

This attitude has a clash between his real self and the self he aspires to be.

Therefore, Islam forbids bullying because it has elements of Hedonism, Individualism, rebelliousness, self-aggrandizement and showing off power.

All the cultures and attitudes mentioned are very dangerous because they erode moral values ​​or morals in the Muslim community. All the cultures and attitudes mentioned also result in the emergence of various problems and moral symptoms that are sometimes beyond rational expectations.

Meanwhile, Islam applies effective moral values ​​by strengthening faith in Allah SWT.

The strength or weakness of a person's faith can be measured from behavior and morals. A strong faith will create good and noble morals, while a weak faith will give birth to bad and vile morals.

Religion is the basis in the formation of human morals. Without religious ties, morals will not be stable and permanent, but only temporary.
