INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE BASIC HAJJ COURSE (KAH)

1. INTRODUCTION TO KAH

The Basic Course of Hajj (Kah) IS an introductory course to Hajj, Umrah and Pilgrimage. The course takes 17 consecutive sessions or 4 months and 1 week. Each series takes 2 hours and is held from Rabiul Awal to Jamadil Akhir.

KAH IS open to all Muslims who are interested in learning the knowledge of Hajj and Umrah and hajj management in Malaysia. This course was held at selected mosques including UPM mosques at the regional level throughout the country in Malaysia in collaboration between the State Islamic Department and the Lembaga Tabung Haji.

2. OBJECTIVE

The objectives of KHB are as follows :

1. Providing exposure and guidance for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage to prospective pilgrims as well as matters related to Hajj Management and health care;
2. as an initial exposure and preparation before the prospective pilgrim leaves for the Holy Land;
3. help get Hajj mabrur.

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE HAJJ INTENSIVE COURSE (KIH)

1. INTRODUCTION

The Hajj Intensive Course (KIH) is an extension of the Hajj Foundation Course. It is carried out for two (2) days with emphasis on specific topics such as the type of Hajj and how it is carried out. This course is held in Rajab and Sya 'aban. 

Course participants consist of those who have been selected and the category of candidates waiting to perform Hajj in the current year. Participants will be assigned by group split in a total of between 100-150 people in each group, they are required to attend this course. 

The course is held in selected councils or mosques in each region. This course is held before the Hajj Special Course.

2. OBJECTIVE

KHI's goals are:

1. Provide more specific exposure and understanding of the types and methods of performing Hajj;
2. Produce pilgrims who have strong knowledge and can perform the Hajj perfectly; and
3. help get the mabrur pilgrimage.

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SPECIAL HAJJ COURSE (KKH)

1. INTRODUCTION

The Hajj Special Course (KKH) is an advanced course of the Hajj Intensive Course. It is carried out for one (1) day with emphasis on the practical session of Hajj worship. 

Course participants are as follows :

1. Those who do not know how to read and write as well as those who and failed the second session comprehension exam in the Hajj Intensive Course (39% and below);
2.  Those who:

 The course is held in selected councils or mosques in each region. This course is held before the Perdana Hajj Course.

2. OBJECTIVE

The objectives of the KKH are:

1. Provide direct exposure to how to perform Hajj through practice to senior citizens and those who are unable to write and read; and
2. practically train the pilgrimage practice with balanced lessons towards the effectiveness of the pilgrimage guidance to the pilgrims involved.

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PERDANA HAJJ COURSE (KPH)

1. INTRODUCTION

The Perdana Haji Course (KPH) is the last course to be attended by Malaysian pilgrims. It is carried out for one and a half days (1½ days) with emphasis on worship practices, such as tawaf, sa'ie, wuquf, mabit and throwing. 

The course was held in the month of Shawwal at the TH state office level. However, for the state of East Malaysia, due to geographical factors and limited transportation facilities, the implementation was carried out at the district level in the form of a one-day Prime Hajj Briefing. Course participants consisted of those who were selected to perform Hajj in the current year.

2. OBJECTIVE

The objectives of the Criminal Code are :

1.  Shaping pilgrims who have solid knowledge from the point of worship, especially the practice of pilgrimage as a final preparation before leaving for the Holy Land;
2. expose to the participants of the course the atmosphere and environment of the many pilgrims while performing the pilgrimage;
3. provide up-to-date information on the management of Hajj whether in the country or the Holy Land.
