Committed to providing excellent education, the Islamic Centre has organized enlightening sessions on the rulings regarding current issues that are crucial for the community to understand; consequently, it has conducted several series of sessions and classes on Islamic rulings, as follows:
1. FIQH PUASA (Jurisprudence of Fasting)
2. FIQH KORBAN (Jurisprudence of Sacrificial Offering)
3. FIQH HUBUNGAN ETNIK (Jurisprudence of Ethnic Relations)
4. FIQH DARAH WANITA (Jurisprudence of Menstruations and Related Issues)

The University Islamic Centre, through its Education and Guidance Section, organized a Halaqah seminar on the Fiqh of Taharah (ritual purity), specifically addressing issues regarding female-related blood—a topic that remains a subject of scholarly debate. Confusion surrounding these matters arises from a lack of public understanding regarding the relevant religious rulings. Efforts to foster understanding—particularly among women—are essential, as these issues are closely linked to the proper performance of acts of worship. The objective of the Halaqah was to assess public understanding regarding the types of female-related blood—specifically hayd (menstruation) and istihadah (irregular bleeding) —as well as the calculation of periods of purity and menstruation according to Islamic perspectives. Research findings indicate that many people remain confused about how to distinguish between menstrual blood and istihadah blood. They also lack an understanding of the methods for calculating periods of purity and menstruation. This situation has undermined their confidence in performing acts of worship. Based on these findings, the researchers propose several measures to help improve understanding regarding these issues.
Issues concerning the Fiqh of Taharah, particularly those related to female-related blood, have frequently been discussed by Islamic scholars throughout history and in modern times. This is due to the persistent lack of understanding and confusion among women regarding menstruation, nifas (postpartum bleeding), and istihadah. These issues affect not only female students at the school and university levels but also the general public. Various parties must strive to provide the community with a clear and accurate understanding of these matters.
