THE PEOPLE WANT A LEADER WITH INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT

In addition, a good personality as a leader plays a big role in shaping the life of a society. However, good leaders are those who make the Quran and Sunnah the main guide in their leadership.

When we say leadership, of course we want a leader to have commendable traits and attitudes such as trust, honesty, integrity, and charisma. The word of Allah SWT in Surah Al-Anfal, verse 27 means: "O you who believe. Do not betray the trust of God and His Messenger, and do not betray your trust, while you know the mistake".

Trust gives a broad meaning, not only being honest and truthful, but also includes every responsibility or task to be carried out. Trust is an attitude closely related to belief and symbolizes a person's level of faith. Great leaders have vision and goals to bring progress to the country and the well-being of the people.

Today, after the 15th General Election (PRU), we do not want leaders to be blinded by the position they hold and dishonor the trust to be held accountable for their own interests, family and cronies. However, it is the responsibility of Muslims to take care when it comes to electing leaders. In the context of Malaysia, Muslims need to get involved in choosing the 'right' and 'strong'
leaders through elections.

Have a sharp mind

Accurate and strong does not mean only in terms of physicality, but a leader must be sharp in thinking in leadership. For example, when the leader's thinking is weak,
of course threats or harm will destabilize an administration.

Therefore, we want strong leaders to avoid weaknesses in organizing the future of the organization or lethargy
in the face of current challenges as well as a lack of ideas in managing the governance of a country. Therefore, the leader's personality also refers to the ability of a person to take on the role of influencing others towards good.

Every leader has the character of honesty and integrity to be able to give complete trust in leadership.

Dishonesty not only hurts yourself, but also hurts others. Therefore, leaders must always cultivate honesty and integrity wherever they are. Leaders who are pragmatic, charismatic and have faith can certainly make better decisions, open communication and also create a positive environment. In conclusion, the people, especially the Muslims, must unite to choose or be a leader who always has an attitude of responsibility, trust,
strength and honesty so that he becomes a symbol of the strength of unity and well-being of the community in our country.
