SERDANG, 07 January - The first carnival was organized at the UPM Mosque featuring various activities with the involvement of students from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

This carnival is jointly organized by the Co-Curriculum & Student Development Center, the University Islamic Center, UPM and the UPM Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) which is held for 2 days and 1 night located around the UPM Mosque and the Islamic Center.

During the 2-day camp at the UPM Mosque, among the activities available here are a Relaxing Discussion Forum, blood donation, Khat calligraphy Workshop and competition, Al-Fatihah Clinic, batik weaving, photography competition and many more.

The carnival was also attended by the Vice Chancellor of UPM, Ybhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan bin Sulaiman and UPM Registrar, Mr. Muhazam Mansor to be with the students to make this carnival a success.
